HOLY BUSY, BATMAN! NA NA NA NA...

-dances in a crazy fashion-

Anywho...

I do very much apologize for disappearing off the face of the earth for over a week.  I've been so busy with work (two jobs) and doing other things that did not include nail polish or blogging, unfortunately.  I haven't changed my manicure in over a week and it is looking pretty raggedy.  On the up-side to this predicament, the mani did last for literally six days without chipping! It was the one with the dots in my previous post.  How cool is that? Usually my job at the coffee shop destroys my nails in minutes.

My friend's wedding is in two days, and I am going out of town tomorrow to attend that (I'm a bridesmaid).  It's going to be great, and I can't wait to see my friend walk down the aisle.  Tonight after work I plan on doing my nails, and I need to do something that will coordinate with my dress as I will not have time to do them tomorrow or the day of the event.  The dress is black and purple, so I was thinking something that included those colors.  I guess only time will tell when I finally get off work and decide what my lazy butt is capable of doing!  I also have to pack and make sure I've got everything I need.  I'd best not forget my dress! :O

I know this post had very little to do with nails, but I just wanted y'all to know what's up in the world of this fASHionista (ha ha, I'm hilarious).

For your viewing pleasure:

I made this when my polish making supplies arrived in the mail.  I called it "Potion", part of a three polish halloween mini collection that I designed.  I will not be producing these for sale, unfortunately, because I did not have enough supplies for more.  I just made them for a test run, if you will.  But, nonetheless, look at the pretty! (I layered it over My Boyfriend Scales the Walls by OPI)

OPI + China Glaze + accent nail dots

When I found OPI - It's My Year at Winners one day, I knew I'd hit the jackpot.  This polish is GORGEOUS, and it's from the 2011 Miss Universe collection, so it's probably kinda hard to find.  Well, I HAD TO HAVE IT.  Sorry, I'm yelling, but I cannot contain my excitement.  It's My Year is a beautiful plum colored polish packed with gold shimmer.  You can see why I love it, right? THE SHINY!

I used three coats of this wonderful polish on every nail except the ring finger.  On the ring finger, I used China Glaze Purr-fect Plum from the On Safari collection, and then I dotted it with It's My Year.  It looked pretty darn awesome, I must say!

Maybelline - Boho Gold

Hello everybody! I hope you are enjoying your Thanksgiving / Columbus Day long weekend! I am, even though today is rainy and gross.  I just did my nails (not with Boho Gold, that was Saturday's mani), and now I'm watching Easy A and assembling nail polish bottles in preparation for my little holiday creations.  All I need is my glitter to arrive in the mail!

So, here's Boho Gold, one of the new Maybelline Color Show limited edition polishes that I finally managed to get my pretty, polished paws on.  It's an almost dupe of Chanel's Peridot, so I hear, and I love it! It's such a pretty duochrome polish.  Of course, I didn't wait for each coat to fully dry before I applied the next, so it bubbled a little.  It still looked decent, though.

I used three coats of Boho Gold to achieve full opacity, but you could get away with two.

Happy Thanksgiving (or Columbus Day in the US) everybody! Now, on to the photos:

China Glaze United in Purpose - Exquisite

This was the only polish from the China Glaze United in Purpose collection that caught my eye (at least from what was left on display at Chatters), and I must say, it is quite exquisite.  It's such a pretty, shimmery pink, and I'm a sucker for a good pink.

I used three coats, but you could get away with two.

This blog post is brought to you by the letter "T" and the number "3"

One day last week, as usual, I was having great difficulty deciding on a color for my nails.  I was debating between three China Glaze shades:  Trendsetter, Traffic Jam, and Turned-Up Turquoise.  Of course, since actually making a decision is totally not an option, I went for all three.  I used Trendsetter for most nails, and did accents of Turned-Up Turquoise and Traffic Jam.  It looked pretty cool, and I got a few compliments that day, which always make me feel awesome!

Hilariously enough, I just noticed that all of these polishes names begin with the letter T.  I'm easily entertained, so I just sat smirking at the computer for a moment.  No big deal.

Here are a few photos:
