I used three coats of this wonderful polish on every nail except the ring finger. On the ring finger, I used China Glaze Purr-fect Plum from the On Safari collection, and then I dotted it with It's My Year. It looked pretty darn awesome, I must say!

OPI + China Glaze + accent nail dots
When I found OPI - It's My Year at Winners one day, I knew I'd hit the jackpot. This polish is GORGEOUS, and it's from the 2011 Miss Universe collection, so it's probably kinda hard to find. Well, I HAD TO HAVE IT. Sorry, I'm yelling, but I cannot contain my excitement. It's My Year is a beautiful plum colored polish packed with gold shimmer. You can see why I love it, right? THE SHINY!

China Glaze United in Purpose - Exquisite
This was the only polish from the China Glaze United in Purpose collection that caught my eye (at least from what was left on display at Chatters), and I must say, it is quite exquisite. It's such a pretty, shimmery pink, and I'm a sucker for a good pink.
I used three coats, but you could get away with two.

This blog post is brought to you by the letter "T" and the number "3"
One day last week, as usual, I was having great difficulty deciding on a color for my nails. I was debating between three China Glaze shades: Trendsetter, Traffic Jam, and Turned-Up Turquoise. Of course, since actually making a decision is totally not an option, I went for all three. I used Trendsetter for most nails, and did accents of Turned-Up Turquoise and Traffic Jam. It looked pretty cool, and I got a few compliments that day, which always make me feel awesome!
Hilariously enough, I just noticed that all of these polishes names begin with the letter T. I'm easily entertained, so I just sat smirking at the computer for a moment. No big deal.

Dotticure...fail?
I bought some dotting tools yesterday, so I decided to give them a shot. I like how the dots turned out; I was just bad at placement. Oops. I guess practice makes perfect! I started with two coats of Essie "blanc" and used China Glaze Pool Party and Papaya Punch for the dots. Afterward I topped it off with a coat of Essie "Shine of the Times". It looks way better in person than in the pictures. My camera couldn't really capture the glitter well, unfortunately.

Swatch: Lighthouse
I was going to do a post with pictures of the mani I'm wearing today, but my computer's being weird; therefore, I do not want to attempt to upload pictures. Of course, I did this a while back:
China Glaze - Lighthouse is a very sheer shimmer/fine glitter polish. I'm wearing three coats and there was still some VNL, but overall it looked pretty good. I didn't have time to clean up properly after I did my nails that day, so there's some glitter on my cuticles. oops. Oh well.
I'd bet that this would look awesome over black. I'll have to keep that in mind!

My first indie polishes arrived in the mail!
I don't know what I was more excited to share with the world: my first frankens, or a mani using my first indie polishes.
A while back I mentioned ordering from Glitrix and Dandy Nails. Well, on Monday, Funhouse by Dandy Nails (along with Sandy's cute business card!) came in the mail, so I had to use it immediately. SUCH an awesome polish. It was too bad that I messed up my manicure, haha. I do, however, have photos nonetheless!
I layered Funhouse over China Glaze's Hang Ten-toes and it looked pretty freakin' awesome! I really need to create a contraption to help me take good pictures. My camera does not do this bright mani justice.
I received the Glitrix polish on Tuesday, so you'll see a swatch of that one sometime in the near future.

Swatch: Bahamian Escape.
Oh, I wish I could go to the Bahamas! I guess wearing this pretty light blue cream by China Glaze will have to do! xD This polish was really easy to apply and opaque in one coat, but I used two. Some of my nails look a little rough, but I swear that's just me and not the nail polish itself. The formula for this polish was awesome, and I LOVE the color. I could not stop staring at it!
The next day I added some Sinful Colors - Purple Diamond on top of this mani just to see how it looked. I liked THAT too, but I ended up taking it off just to try something else. This is what I do when I buy a ton of new polish. Nothing can stay on longer than a day or two.

Hello there!
Unfortunately, the past few days have been quite busy, therefore I've been unable to post; however, I do have a couple of cute manis to show you this week! I also have some neat ideas up my sleeve, so my nails will be looking pretty funky later on.
I went to Chatters on Saturday and picked up OPI DS Temptation, OPI Don't Touch My Tutu, and a couple of China Glaze Summer Neons (I'm With the Lifeguard and Hang Ten-toes...I think I bought Hang Ten-toes! It was one of the pinks!).
I'll post pictures of these polishes later, but for now...I'm at work. SHHH, I'm not slacking, I swear! xD
I'm currently wearing Don't Touch My Tutu, and I also have a couple of pictures on my camera, but I'm not sure if I'll post them. It was a rushed manicure and it does not look very nice. I really love these OPI New York City Ballet Collection polishes, though! They're sheer, but so pretty!

Kayla Shevonne is giving away China Glaze's On Safari Collection!
ANOTHER GIVEAWAY! This is exciting; two very cool giveaways in the one day!
Kayla Shevonne is giving away the FULL China Glaze On Safari Collection! She received a second set of the polishes just after she already purchased them for herself, so now she's doing a giveaway just 'cause she's awesome.
I don't know about anyone else, but I love most of these colors! Here's a photo of the polishes:

Recent Haul
Okay, so...I didn't buy all of these on the same day. I bought three one day, nine another, and then one on Friday, but I'll stick them all together as my most recent haul. Obviously, I'm a polish addict. Only a polish addict can buy nine bottles of nail polish in one day.
Fabulous is My Middle Name, Star of the Party, Khloe Had A Little Lam-lam
Whimsical, and Scandalous
Sun Kissed, Lighthouse, Midtown Magic, Significant Other Color, and You Callin' Me A Lyre?
School of Pyrotechnics, Born Into Privilege, and Muchi, Muchi.
Below is a picture that captures the color of Muchi, Muchi a little better. I really do not like the quality of my camera.
I've also purchased Funhouse by Dandy Nails and Mystique by Glitrix. I can't wait to receive them so I can try them out! They will be the first indie polishes that I will use! I'm totally excited!
I haven't used all of these yet...actually, I've only used five of them, but I'm getting there! :D
My first mani with these new polishes consisted of Khloe Had A Little Lam-lam topped off with School of Pyrotechnics. It was pretty awesome; I wore it on the day of my college graduation. My next manicure was Sun Kissed with OPI's Rainbow Connection on top. I am loving the China Glaze Summer Neons collection, and I can't wait to get my paws on a few more.
